I don't think blocked has native support for Vintage Story, are you using a plugin?
Nope, I'm just trying to load the json by open it with bb, should I not ? I've seen other modders do it, but maybe I misunderstood how they opened the files...
!faq json
JSON is a popular data structure format that can be used for any type of data. The extension .json is therefore ambiguous and does not necessarily mean that the file is compatible with your needs. If you refer to JSON files without context, we won't know which one you are talking about.
Here are the most common JSON files in the context of Blockbench:
- Java Edition Block/Item Model (
.json) - Bedrock edition geometry (
.json, often.geo.json) - OptiFine model (
.jemor.jpm) - Blockbench Project File (
.bbmodel) - Blockbench Theme (
.bbtheme)
as itsgrass said, there might be a Blockbench plugin that has support for Vintage Story .json files (if Vintage Story saves its model files as .json to begin with)
Ah alright, thanks !
Pretty sure it does, since that's how I found them in the game folder, but again, might have misunderstood something
can you show one of the .json files you are trying to open?
Yes, gimmie a sec to grab it
that does seem like a custom model format, yeah
only plugin I could find for VintageStory (in the Blockbench plugins list) is one to export to that format though 🤔 (no importer)
Well, you were right, there is a plugin ! Thank you !
Oh
I'm dumb
to be fair, could have been an importer too
They seem to have their own modeling tool:
