#Christmas Tree

The second design is my favoriteout of the three.
Some tips:
Male it more pointed at the top, add lights (planes) around it to give it that Christmas tree feeling
I feel like the second one is he messiest, any tips on how to make it look more cohesive?
I'd suggest start at the stem, remake the bottom layer, then copy it and make it slightly smaller (1-2 pixels), rotate it a tad and repeat.
As for the texture, try making the green cubes inside the tree darker, and make the gradient of the leaves start from a darker tone and slowly gets lighter as it goes out
Could you send a pic of how one layer looks or?
I'll try to when I get back home

Sorry if my explanations aren't exact..just trying to word it in a way for you to understand
2-3 are your best bets by far, planes re[plicate a more leafy feeling
You could follow lego and make 2 like this
I'd waste so much money on this ðŸ˜
Me too
But actually is a good reference
Legos for life
I have 4 sets from the botanical collection already
Im grinding them new lego starwars sets
What you making
Some type of demon. I think I posted a wip earlier
What do you mean by one layer
Like this?
Uh that would be like the second one, they get slightly bigger as they go down
Yes but is that texture on one plane. Or is that just the 4 from one of the layers?
It's 4 from one layer
Ah
Ok, so again, the cube that's in the middle that's acting as the leaves inside the rett..make it darker. Then start the gradient with a pixel of thet color, and slowly make it brighter as it grows out.
Once it gets to the upper smaller portion of the reel, angle the planes downward more
Ohh
All of the other models I've been referencing angle the last portions less
Ah
It will help with the triangle shape
I'd suggest making slight changed to each planes textures, but that may get too noisy
And again, adding a small layer to the top will make the top less cut off
Merry Christmas!
3 looks better than 2 ngl, but 2 is kimda mid imo
