Does the update remove all my previous works when it's completed?
I tried accessing my old files, but it says that they are not found.
If so, what to do?

It's an update to the blockbench app itself, it doesn't affect anything else

For example, I've been working on a project before the auto-update. After the update the file went missing in the recent files window and I can't access it

Unless your files were inside the Programs/Blockbench folder (or wherever Blockbench installs itself) your files won't be touched.
Other than that at worst it would just lose the location of the recent models (though mine are showing up just fine even after the update)
