Ominous Banner colors?

I know it's possible to change the patterns the banner uses, but what about the colors? And, if so, how?

when putting patterns onto banners in the loom, you can change the color the pattern could be, but the Ominous Banner get these colors preset, meaning, unless they are able to be changed, the pattern set I wanna use would be useless...
