Can you open your .json model in a text editor and show the first few lines of text?

(Assuming the shape is correct and only the texture is the problem in that screenshot)

Assuming you are in 1.19.3 or newer, textures need to be textures/item or textures/block, not directly in the textures folder

(well, there are ways to make the game load it from other folders too, but putting it in one of those folders is easier)

i renamed it to polished_blackstone.png later but it is in the minecraft > textures > block

well, if you rename/move it you need to adjust the texture path in the model accordingly too
