#3D model to bbmodel

bbmodel? Yes. Model that you can use in Minecraft? Not really
OBJ models can only be imported into a Generic Model format project. Blockbench can also export to OBJ from any format.
OBJ models (or similar formats like glTF, FBX, or USD) are mesh models, this means that they can't be used in any Minecraft format because Minecraft uses cube models.
(PS: Mesh elements also cannot be converted into cuboid elements, even if they look like a cuboid).
sorry.. i expressed myself wrong..
I want to convert a photo to bbmodel
Do you actually want a bbmodel though?
bbmodel files are files that blockbench uses to store models.
You cannot use them anywhere else or at least not all it's features.
well it's a plugin on java that create resourcepacks based on bbmodel, it's called ModelEngine
I want to create that caster minion from league legends to use it on my dungeon, but i'm not a good artist so i would prefer to convert the photo and continue from there ๐
This mob is on java, converted into a texturepack from a bbmodel
Well, yeah you won't be able to use .obj models for that.
And sadly there is no magic yet, that will turn an image into a 3d model.
You'll either have to remake those models using cubes, or comission someone to do it.
oh ๐ฆ
then where could i ask a price for that caster minion on this discord?
You can post a job offer in #job-list or look for an artist in #artist-list
alright then
