I've recently gotten into making custom skins - and I have no problem with that - but when I upload them into bedrock the models meant to move with the head (horns in this case) don't. They're under the "head" group so I thought they would retain the in-game movements along with the head, but instead I have some free-floating horns. I'm assuming this is because I included extra bones not originally in the player model, but I'm not sure how else to rotate the model pieces! (The rotate option does not appear unless I an editing a bone.)
Also, the horns move with the head in-program but not in-game. Idk if that's important but I just wanted to include all information I can.
#Custom Geometry Skin - Head Decorations

Is this a custom geometry skin or is it something else?
this is a custom geometry skin
Because sometimes most extra geometry skins have the head part not moving like the body
dang, is there no way to link the movements?
I have not made any things like this yet, maybe you could try by moving the straight horns to the head group first?
as in directly under the head group? i can try that
it does move with the head now! but the rest of the horns are still static
so the problem is most likley the extra bones..
is there a way to rotate things without adding the bone-groups?
I don't think there is any in the bedrock legacy model
have you tried the new bedrock entity model yet, or does it simply not work?
i didnt know there was a new bedrock entity model! where can i get it?
wait i think i got it
i'll try this new model out and see it it works
MY GOODNESS! I CAN ROTATE!
thank you so much!!!!!!!!
NOTE: currently unable to import the new model as a player model, but still attempting to troubleshoot
if i ever figure this out i'll make a tutorial or something
Try resolving the groups that you put the horns in
i did! it messes the rotation and pivot up
