51 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
what do i export it as?
Bedrock Entity
ok i did it how do i set it as my own character
I forgot to mention that i want it as a custom height
it will auto change the collsion box for you
What's ac
I mean i want my own player to be small
Like there are entities and then there's the player
I want myself to be tiny without editing the hitbox tho
You add this scale and make it's 0.25 or some thing small
You add it to the BP entity file
you can get the BP entitiy file from the default vanilla pack
!faq default-pack
Disclaimer: Use these packs as REFERENCE, don't put your models inside them, it just increases your pack needlessly. Also don't put any of the unedited files from it into your own pack. The distributions of default assets in your pack is illegal.
For Java Edition:
(This works the same for all versions, 1.17 is just used as an example here)
Go to .minecraft/versions/1.17 and open the 1.17.jar in there with a zip program. Alternativley you can copy the .jar file and change the file extension to .zip and double click it.
Extract/copy the "assets" folder inside the jar somewhere. It contains all the default models/textures.
For Bedrock Edition:
Go to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/minecraft/creator/documents/resourcepack and scroll to "Building the Resource Pack". The download for the vanilla resource pack can be found right above that title.
Alternatively here is the direct download link: https://aka.ms/resourcepacktemplate
you can just copy/paste the entity file in
Ok
uhhh cyber
im not that experienced so now when i open bridge i prolly choose skin pack right?
or wait hold on
huh
I assumed you already had a bp/rp made
You need to make an addon which has a bp/rp for this to work.
so you need to get a player entity file and put it in your BP entities folder then add the scale component to it
alright
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/minecraft/creator/documents/resourcepack this tells me how to edit cow's manifest files but not players
You simply copy/paste the file in to your bridge project folder adn then open it in bridge
This is for Resource pack not Behavior pack
Have you watch the bridge 101 guides?
guess
guess what?
oh, I'd start there so you can see someone do it. I don't use bridge v2 or I'd give you one of my guides. But there are hordes here https://discord.com/channels/602097536404160523/668563035127808011
Not sure you'd have to look in the channel or search yt.
All my guides are in bridge v1. and I don't have any covering this subject.
for custom player models, you'll have to use a resource pack for that
And I assume I can make them by myself but is bridge v2 useful for that
Yep
