I've got a model with a second Layer of Elements covering the whole model. That Overlay Layer has an Animated texture that I've selected "Render Mode: Additive" for. How do I achieve the effect that can be seen in Blockbench in Fabric 1.19 - 1.20?

Entity models do not support animated textures, or any features of the mcmeta files.

If you want such behavior, you have to do create it in your render code.

That is actually just a Block

The Animation works, it's just a matter of making the texture additive

Well, tbh I don't know.
This is the first time I am hearing of the additive render mode. (in this context)
I am not sure whether you can use it in minecraft.

Those modes are for Blockbench only afaik

the render modes only affect blockbench, and have no impact on the model in game
