I want to give some animations to a villager like a proper wan and run but I don’t know how to do that in a resource pack though I do know it’s possible due to another resource pack that does the same thing I’m trying to do, does anyone know how?

in the optifine format, down below the model in the animation editor animations are done via """code""", to know how to use said code, as provided by the command above, there is a tutorial for Optifine regarding those exact things.

If you need context for some of the basics if the tutorial isn't enough (which should be, but just in case) in the same animation editor there's a documentation button that you can click and read a few examples regarding how to do basic animations, such as the entity being hurt, walking, etc.
