It rotates fine in edit mode but messes up bad in the animator. Anyone have any idea why?
#Local Rotate Not Working in Animate Mode

The gimble for the pivot itself is aligned fine and well, as you can see
in the animator, it doesn't rotate based off how it's shown visually, because it treats the rotated cube as if the pivot point isn't rotated in edit mode
as an example as to what im saying for more clarity, it's like rotating a cube 45 degrees with a folder, then putting that folder inside another new folder, and that folder won't have any rotations
well, shoot.
How would i go about getting this to rotate in the way that I want then?
try removing the rotation in edit mode, then animate the cube to be back to the initial rotation you had it as
yeah looks good
Hey, i've had this same issue and I tried this solution, but whenever I rotate it along the Y axis (the axis I want to move during animation) the values for the rotation change from a Y value to an X and Z, and instead of rotating smoothly along the Y axis, it sort of wobbles back and forth https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eh89XzqApFQ
i can provide the model if needed
I got some help in another thread I created, everything's working well now
