#How can I apply an name check for players in a resource pack?

I'd make it with a BP/RP then if you want only a RP work to move the BP stuff to RP.
But I'd make it the easy way first
ah, okay.
I do want it to be a lone RP in the end, but I think it might be good to start with a BP
Luckily I already have the model and textures laying around since a long time ago
I wonder how this checks for player name?
since I know resource packs can check for it too
or use event in naming component.
Test it, thats why they call it development. You could be the only person ever to do it
If you figure it out make a guide so others don't have to spend that time learning it too

I kind of want to also study how the game and addon checks for entity names but I feel like going into the addon is something its creators don't want
I kind of couldn't understand the text, so I tried to go off of vanilla files, and I made... something happen, but my player is invisible in-game now
wait, I think I forgot part of the filepath for the texture
well I adjusted that, but it's still invisible
wait nevermind I somehow fixed it
