I created an entity that flies similarly to the bee but that attacks, so this entity when it will attack it arrives in the mob and is floating to a block of height (in the player is at eye height) without causing damage, so only deals damage when the player jumps or if for some reason the entity goes down a little, so it means that the entity is not hitting the hit box, does anyone know how to help me?

I created a monster called demon Eye that flies like the bee, but that monster when dealing damage to other entities it is flying about a block high from the ground and only deals damage when the player jumps or when the Demon Eye eventually lowers to the height of the entities' feet
