When using the windows verison of blockbench (4.6.1) I notice that the fps hovers around 30 - 31 fps when I have hardware acceleration enabled. When I disable hardware acceleration, the viewport fps increases to 60 - 85 fps (up to 100 fps when I have turbo enabled on my intel cpu). However on the browser verison I get 144 fps.

Is there any reason that this happens? Would it be possible for me to get 144 fps on the application as well?

Oddly enough, it seems that the application does go to 144 fps if I go in fullscreen mode and have hardware acceleration on, although it goes back to 30 fps when I'm not in fullscreen
