#Missing Textures

Hello! I was making block models for Java yesterday and painted textures directly onto my models. I saved my BB file and reopened it this morning to find that the textures are all white, and it says under the textures tab that the file can't be found. I'm not sure what to do, as I'd made the textures directly in BB using the "Create Texture" > Paint functions. I tried searching my computer for the texture files but I cannot locate them. Do I have to redo the textures or is there a method to restore these?

hmm, if you open the bbmodel file the textures should be there 🤔

anyways, you can try this:

🖥️ The Desktop version of Blockbench (by default) creates backups of your projects every 10 minutes.
To access them either right click the bar at the bottom or go into the Help tab/menu and then click "Open Backup Folder".
PS: The interval and how long old backups are kept can be defined in the Blockbench settings (File > Preference > Settings > Application).
📱 The mobile/web version (and the desktop app) saves a backup if the model wasn't saved properly. You can access the backup on the start screen after reopening the app. But it is only available once after reopening, and only saves the most recently opened tab.

(keep in mind that the latest backups might be of the model without the textures if you had BB open for a while now)
