I have looked everywhere, and every single video I clicked on was about the wrong topic, I can only use rotate, I can do anything but use modelling tools (Excluding rotating stuff.)

because the skin editor is literally only meant for skin editing...
Otherwise, if you want to edit the player model or such with the skin, go to the top left File > Convert Project > any format you want, Generic model is completely unrestricted in model editor where things like java or bedrock have a few limitations for model editing
