I've created a sword, it's all working fine on every aspect but for some reason it is darker when you view on the players inventory hud, any ideas why? thanks in advance :)

To fix this in 1.15 (Java) or later go to the Display tab in the top right.
Then click go to the gui display settings and there should now be a drop down menu at the top saying "Side Light". Change it to "Front Light".
PS: If the dropdown menu isn't there, click on ⠇and click "Reset", then it should be there.
