#Shotgun damage

Ah, I donât think itâs a bug, as this is the frame right as he shot the shotgun, and you can see the shot is only partially hitting his head :)
yeah but keep in mind I shot him centrally in the head, and what about the bullets? I hit them all too
Ah, in actuality shot very well possibly happened in the screenshot I sent of the frame here, hence the significant but not expected damage! I looked closely, and for roughly a split frame I saw a hit marker appear :)
Many people have complained about the shotgunâs inconsistent damage, but I think itâs a matter of how consistent people can be with it :)
Hence why I manage to hit people from a far range and do consistent damage :)
isn't that consistent?
Ah, I saw the hitmarker appear in the frame right before that one :)
You mightâve clicked during this frame instead of in the screenshot you sent :)
I may be wrong about this though! Weâll see whatâs done about it if they think somethingâs wrong with it :)
here's a clip with audio, maybe you can tell by it when I clicked
the click isn't important according to what happened to my shot, tho I clicked the button when the frame was on his head
Hmm⊠over the sound of the keyboard, it sounds like you clicked your mouse quite literally just before your cursor went over his face :)
Ah, your click is where the shot happened, which is to the left of his head and not directly on it, so what I think happened to your shot is it actually registered as only hitting part of his head instead of the entirety of it, but the gameâs visuals seem to contradict it :)
I could very well be wrong about this though, but if one of the devs takes a look at this thread, theyâll use their judgement :)
I also took into account that when I shot, dekeef went to the left, which could have resulted in my shot not doing all the damage to him. But this shouldn't have happened because I shot him centrally in the head at very close range, so in my opinion it's a gameplay and shotgun damage bug
