oh thank god the quest compass finally got an overhaul 🙏
I remember being so frustrated by the quest compass clunkiness that I just did not want to do more then 1 quest at a time as a new player. To this day I still never bothered to do like half of the side quests.
It's pretty cool
I really love this rework it makes the compass easier to use and better especially if you have a lot of active quests
The addition of Questy the compass buddy feels kinda useless though
can we have a cosmetic to turn questy the compass buddy into clippy from microsoft word heart emoji

Would it be possible to prevent the gui from being opened when in dungeons/strikes?
I mainhand truest almost 90% of the time because it's a really good mainhand item, but if I misclick or worse, shield while holding truest (something I do a lot) it's a disaster now because the gui opens and I'm left a sitting duck
Even better, would it be possible to change the gui opening button to swap while hovering your mouse over a quest compass?
you could swap it to shears
If swap on inv is made the new trigger to open the gui, right click (current gui opener) can be used to cycle steps of selected quests, leaving shift + right click open to be used for something else
the suggestion still stands for true + truer though
Swap on inventory is a terrible trigger for questing but I see the issue with tnorth and shields
Disabling it is a bad idea since death waypoints are pretty useful, and in some cases like Holding Space, a dungeon does have a quest

Why do you think swap on inventory is a bad trigger? (Other than being somewhat unintuitive)
I mean, a message could be added to compasses that mentions this (like with qol epics)
"Press F to open GUI"
Plus, players just need to learn this once

been meaning to suggest this for ages but seems like a good time, could /waypoint get an easier-to-type alias of some sort
something like /wp <x> <y> <z> [optional description] as a shortcut for /waypoint set @s "Custom Waypoint" [description] <x> <y> <z>
Moving coordinates to the front sounds like a good idea
also clicking on grave coords in /grave list should add the grave to your compass for if you log out / get disconnected while having a grave active since relog clears death compass entries
Adding the grave to your compass and having a death compass entry is the same thing
I can only change when/how it's cleared
I could make them manually clear and just stay if you don't do that
