Initial day 1 reaction to the POIs.

I quite liked a lot of them. I played through just about every one and all of them were varied, unique in gameplay style, and very wide open which was nice to see after R3 base launched with a few restrictive ones. I loved the pace of all of them and the new mobs fit well in both a delve and non-delve environment. Will probably update this as more stuff comes out but yeah, great job :D

The only issue I remotely had was with one specific not-instantly breakable spawner taking 10 breaks to uh.. break fully. Solo this kinda sucked as it gave everything around a chance to respawn and generally make my life hell. Maybe it's skill issue but yeah that was the only thing that even remotely bothered me in the POIs

Some elites definitely are more challenging compared to wolfswood/keep elites (or might just because they all are kinda fast and I play shaman)

spawner destruction effects are interesting, although pairing them with shielding spawners kinda defeats the puprose

Damn, it was the most fun I ever had. I would definitely keep doing starpoint. I had a problems. I thought that I’m stuck in the bell scene until i found out that I can ring bell from far away. It was either poorly explained or I didn’t read the text fully

I quite like the new spawners
as things like stoneborn having a lot of mining speed or maybe in the future even faster ones come out, some spawners can have their difficulties up as well

To me it is mostly annoying when it takes 5+ tries

It doesn't increase the difficulty because it is an elite spawner and it won't respawn

Elite and boss designs are very cool

Spawned abilities are a neat idea, but I think the spawners that take multiple times to break should be on normal mob spawners instead of elites since those spawners are unlikely to respawn elites

MW4 was never going to make your items increase in power by a factor of 10

I can understand the disappointment that came with the delve scaling change, which has been talked on elsewhere - but anything else is largely just an expectations issue

We have explicitly said before that the level-to-level increase with masterworking will be largely minimal. The real power up is the comparison from its starting point to its ending point across all masterworking level increases

Having a MW3 item and upgrading it to MW4 will very obviously feel like a lesser buff than having a MW1 item and taking it all the way to MW4

i do hope MW6->MW7 will be the most sizeable increase considering the expected cost lol

I think my biggest gripe with the MW upgrade was that my expectations of power were already appropriate, but I was hoping that at least one of my gear pieces got an interesting upgrade, but when everything is just +0.5 armour or +5% damage, it's super uninteresting, nothing of mine gained 2 stats at once, nothing of mine gained an extra enchantment level

I can't speak too much on it, but MW4 is a necessary stepping stone to a big thing that is still in store for the mastworking system

So even if you weren't interested in this upgrade specifically, there's still intrigue to come from it at the next stage
