#animal drop rates

I made the change because people complained about bow spamming and I figured lowering feather rates would help a bit
I also no longer saw the need for it when we upgraded to 1.17
the feathers are fine but at least make cows drop 1 leather each
its so annoying not being able to find cows the whole grace period just to get 2 leather from 6 cows when u finally do
horses?
People complained about bow spamming and u followed through with it leon?
it's reddit lol
that's the goal, isn't it?
huh?
no point in sticking to the "main point" of reddit if nobody plays
Yeah, but getting rid of the og aspect would kill it even more
Just because stereotypically European players respect melee more
no defenitely not, most og players have quit, thus its smart to change the pvp style to what new players like
theres probably 5 people that really miss the OG bow spamming
I mean, I’ve seen a lot of old faces and when I play every once in awhile. Ppl still bow spam. Nobody is gonna verbally say that they like to bow spam since the meta is melee nowadays lol
yeah
just saying discouraging bow spamming could only really help the servers growth and for new players to enjoy playing
Debatable
no not really at all but ok
yea im completely for changing it back as well lol
ive had so many games where i kill a batch of 4 cows and get only 1 leather
its rough
how would the vanilla drop rates change be getting rid of an og aspect when it was originally like that, if anything the change gives the og feel more but its also pretty clear over the last like 8 or so months that people dont like that change
also there have been so many other major changes to uhc over the last 8 years in terms of config and scenarios and playstyles and techniques that you could consider as "getting rid of the og aspect" that have had more of an influence than an animal drops adjustment
my bad jit
💀
yea idk anymore bruh
