You can’t really rely on them to react properly when opening doors. When running through a locked door I’d advise taking your time stacking up using the mirror wand and using any equipment that you have to help you (e.g. tell them to throw flash bangs and use the bartering ram or other stuff) the less people using guns (inaccurately) the less civs getting shot due to cross fire and the less bullets flying out and creating chaos.

and so far I've never seen anybody actually dying from c2 blasting a door and I've blasted many doors into peoples faces they where all fine, just fake dead
you can use this tactic reliable for taking down suspects for an arrest
however battering ram to the face is a different story
