Yeah, each map first time running. It will generate a file for AI in another place that will be loaded for future runs then.

Question.. Does anyone know how the damage or hitbox models work, or how to determine those values?
Doing some weapon damage testing on the civ below HQ and i'm stumped.
Shooting only at left leg, trying to hit the same spot every time.
SA-58 takes 3-4 hits to kill
M4A1 takes 2-3
UMP takes 2-3
SLR47 takes 1-2
MPX takes 3-4
The first value I assume there's some chance for "fragmentation" damage or something that causes the target to take 1 less to kill. For the SA-58, 4 hits to kill is typical and 3 hits happens only sometimes.
Is the civ damage in the basement bugged? Why does the SA-58 do the same damage to limbs as the MPX?
Why does the SLR47 do significantly more damage than the other rifles - including the SA-58 in 7.61x51?

i just installed the Florida custom map and it runs fine singleplayer but when i try to play it multiplayer, it always crashes everyone except the hosts game

Maybe its related to the devs developments on new door traps. They have like inaccessible weapons on display that can be accessed through mods. Maybe they modified the way doors work to be able to program more traps down the line but isn't immediately apparent and it somehow causes the crashing on custom maps?
It would line up with the same time people were posting about issues around March 31 which is the same time they announced the door traps and a hotfix came out

Quick question if anyone can help: I'm trying to play on custom maps with friends, but its not working. We download the same map version, install it in the paks folder, generate the AI pathing first by loading the map in single-player, and then try to launch the map in multiplayer (friends only). We've tried with and without the mod checksum. We do have extra/different equipment/gun skins per person, but that shouldn't matter without the mod checksum, right?

but if you're looking to have the actual HRT uniforms from the supporter edition over regular swat unfortunately that just can't happen because it would unlock paid content to non supporters which would be piracy.

It wouldn't be considered piracy to a supporter however even if the mod were to be shared privately between supporters there's still that risk that someone would leak it to non-supporter because unfortunately there's no absolute way to lock it to supporters only.

Well there's also https://www.nexusmods.com/readyornot/mods/363 and https://www.nexusmods.com/readyornot/mods/253 (You'll have to download one of the top gameplay from the battlefield AI mod.) make sure you're dropping the .pak file in the paks folder and not a .zip/rar file.
Well you must be installing them incorrectly real names should work it's the one I am using.
Your install path should be something like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks depending on where you installed the game.
Just so you know they won't work if you're in another game and the host doesn't have the same mod.

See all the adjustments I have made and again these were just all quality of life tweaks to provide more balancing between difficulty and fairness. -All Terrorist Hunt difficulties no longer have traps

-Zombie Knife Party and Chaotic Bombies no longer have any locked doors and a 50% chance of doors being open
-Adjusted Suppression Tactical to have AI Suspects with less aggression levels
-Slightly decreased the range accuracy for Terrorist Hunt Prefire Difficulty
-Compliance Difficulty is now the easiest game mode for this modpack

Yes you can. However, I believe it's bugged atm so you'll have to download the current workaround which will remove all doors on the map otherwise you and everyone else will crash.
Everyone needs to manually install the custom map

I have the Terrorist hunt mod installed but can't figure out how to get it to work. I just got RON a few days ago.
If it's installed correctly all you have to do is load up any map and all Ai should be suspects which is the main way how you can tell it's activated.

also can I turn off Friendly AI and go in Solo ?. i'm learning the game still so I don't know a lot of the features and options
In single player unfortunately that's not possible, and no matter what even if you try to bypass using public or friend only lobby if you launch a mission solo bots will still spawn anyway so no possible way to go solo.

Noticed real weapon names mod allows you to always use NVGs without having them as equipped gear, would be nice if that was standalone.

Guys it's unnecessary to have to delete the entire game and reinstall just go to the folder where it's installed: "Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Binaries\Win64" and remove the reshade-shaders folder, dxgi.dll, any and all .ini files from reshade, and the log too. And done simple and easy no redownload hassle. Something to know for the future

Yea I mean your method works fine but redownloading games can be a hassle for plenty of people not everyone runs god tier internet with the best PC and even with a good PC RoN itself can be a pain about redownloading sometimes so it's best to save yourself the trouble.

i've seen a few tutorials on mods for RON and they all say "If you verify your game files when you get errors it deletes your mods". This is not true for my case. I did in fact get an error and have to verify the game files and all my mods were still there. giving false information is bad.

Yea that's Void's plan somewhere down the road and eventually they'll make a modding SDK so modders have far more ability to mod the game to greater extents.

i just want to say that some of them flags are backwards
most of them, the flag is always worn as if it is on a pole moving forward, and typically only worn on the right shoulder for the uniform

@civic mulch cryes dont have camo fabric under them so the roll should be blank,also the arc rails shouldn't be mcam (+ frogman patch is ugly as shit)

and yeah, with HoltDT's permission we used his Trauma Team voices mod for SWAT since it had voice filters already + removed any reference to being police

Are you using the colt m4a1 ? The URGI and SAI M4s are different from vanilla but i am pretty sure the M4A1 is the same as vanilla unless you put another M4A1 replacement on top of it

To install simply navigate to your games folder and head into the paks folder and you can drag and drop any downloaded mods into their(Note when downloading mods from Nexus you will have to extract them using 7zip or winrar/and or any other file archive program. Only .pak files should be dropped in the paks folder.)
Your path will look something like this: (Insert your steam library install here)\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks

There are so many conflicting mods in there
A good amount of those mods aren’t even being used.
You can’t install 2 mods that change the exact same things, for example improved gameplay mod and better enemy behavior are both AI mods and cannot be used together, only one will be loaded at the end and that’s whichever one is last in the load sequence.

Seems like you'd be best off using a mod loader or something to help keep things organized better.
You could also keep certain mods that you don't want to outright delete, so you can enable or disable certain ones that could conflict with each other.

Download map, extract the mod into your .pak folder. Everyone must have the map for it to work in MP, right now you need to download the doorless version or the mutliplayer fix mod for custom maps

You'll be forced to play with the same modded people with checksum on, but it's not perfect, just disable the setting in game options on the very bottom and you'll have no prob

When it's enabled, you can only play with people who have exactly identical mods, but it doesn't seem to properly work like that sometimes. When it's disabled, it doesn't matter who has what mod

Normal ron in the sense that you won't have to worry about what other mods people have when they try to join, yeah
Keep in mind you'll have issue joining people with the setting on, meaning vanilla people are pretty much off limits. Which is fine, a good portion of people play modded

Let me phrase a bit better, all serverside checksum does is check what mods people have when they try to join you, or what mods someone has when you try to join them
With it on, you can only play with identical modded people, with it off it doesn't check at all so there's no issues joining lobbies with it turned off

Yes, everyone has to have them installed. There's a bug right now where you need to either download the modded map fix or download the doorless version of said map

There is no "mod" folder, or shouldn't be, only the pak folder. When you download the mod, extract the .pak file inside, only the .pak will work
