i haven't seen one yet that is quite up to the level of the dev's maps. my criteria for judging a map is also how closely it fits in with the art direction and theme of the game, so stuff like shifter exposition is a complete novelty. also, most of the art in custom maps aren't there yet. lustful remorses uses a lot of vanilla assets so it does look quite good, but arrangement wise i would say the map isn't as polished as the dev made ones. the dev's set a standard that is extremely hard to match

I can tell you I personally don't use the CharacterLookOverrider since it does tend to mess with other mods. CharacterLookOverrider is really only best used when the character mod you're using it for is the only character mod you plan on using.

Both nexus and mod.io are fine for mods, sometimes mod store in game installs mods to the wrong place. Imo the best thing is to manually download the mod and place the .pak file in RoN pak folder as that is where the .pak files need to go. Assuming the mod is updated from September onwards, they will most likely work, mods updated before September are unlikely to work

Some Modders have chose to continue updating on mod.io and not nexus and the other way around, best thing is to check both for mods you looking for.
Those that question suspects shooting through walls and doors, this is a thing depending on the wall/door material and thickness but remember you can shoot them to 🙂

Ok so I keep having this problem, I'm trying to play custom maps with a friend, we both installed the exact same maps and we have no other game-changing mods except for real police yells (just some replaced audio files basically).
When we're playing custom maps one of us has the 'correct' doors and the other one has wooden doors with a cross on it.

At this time, there isn't any UI for you to adjust any AI settings...hopefully that is an idea in the future. For now, you can only simulate it with AI modding
