Yea there's two files for that one, one for the content that has the actual assets for the map and the other is the map itself you need both in your paks folder for it to work.

Yes, and no

Checksum is essentially the setting behind the game checking what mods you have when you join someone, or what mods someone has when they join you. If its on, you essentially have to be unmodded to find games.

If you have it off, it doesn't matter what mods you have when you join someone, or what mods they have when they join you, but you can only join other lobbies with the setting turned off

#

As for vanilla players and mod players, it depends all on the host and the individual mods.

Map mods: everyone needs the map mod for it to work properly
AI tweaks or major weapon changes: The host must have it, but others don't have to have it (unless it uses custom assets)
Weapon unlocker mods: Everyone can see it, but only those with it installed can use it, I'm not sure if being host changes that

overall though keep in mind that the game will detect all mods, even cosmetic, and mark you as modded

Yea I usually get that too don't know if it's fixable or not, it would probably require the author to update to do so though. Doesn't bother me too much since it still works regardless of them being doubled up.

I only tested explosive vest civvies on Gas Station and since they dont really have matching ped models as Club I assume its limited to just Club peds

That is very weird. Normally Nexus downloads are zip/rar files which you unpack and move to the proper folder. Why you get .txt files is strange. Try a different browser, maybe?

Any mods that change the base head models/helmets will likely prevent mask from being worn so focus on looking for a mod that does that in your paks folder.

Download a mod file from Nexus Mods. It will most likely be a RAR-file.

Open the downloaded file, browse through it until you have the .pak-file you want to add to the game.

Go to this directory: [Wherever you have installed Steam on your drive]\Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks
Drag and drop the .pak mod-file into that directory.
Done. You can now run the game.
