So basically, character models are made of a certain amount of polygons, if you have some dynamic change on the magazines they carry, you need to model every single configuration and have the game be able to switch between them every time they empty a magazine, which means you will have "invisible" gear configurations, but they are still there, in game, and while you don't see it, your computer...feels it.

That's my understanding of it in non-computer terms!

In RL, Ceramic plates are lighter, absorbs the impact of the round and depending on the level of protection, take multiple hits. Steel weights more, and will send spalling all over which will mess you up.

But in the game, steel is giga-chad bullet absorber which will allow you to go full terminator mode.

I found this which shows what rounds look like following them being fired

As you can see, AP would act like FMJ, which would penetrate armour a lot better, but actually cause less of a wound if hitting flesh

Something like the maximum expansion or gold dot would expand and flatten upon impact, which would make it much less likely to penetrate armour, but would cause a lot more damage to flesh

it would be a lot more immersive if the scene when we arrived was more akin to the new nightclub map

perhaps the scoring system could also be different, and have an emphasis on time

being that if you complete it in 3 minutes you get an A, and then going down respectively

that would keep the immersion of hearing the shooter inside, killing people, without making the gamemode impossible to get a high score on

furthermore, lots of dead civilians would set the mood

pair this with the new mechanics for the update

It’s possible, watermelons are of similar but slightly less strength than shotguns and they are torn to pieces by buckshot

A slug is a 20.4mm chunk of metal going at a fairly slow speed

It creates huge holes but yet again I don’t really know what it would do to your head
