it's not the companies themselves sending letters, it's usually these big legal comglomorates that they have to prevent things like chinese knockoffs. unfortunately, these legal departments usually don't represent the company's values and just want money

change up the proprietary plate carrier design, sure. But HRT is part of the Bureau and technically we all paid for it through taxes and its name and lettering is not copyright protected the same way the plate carrier itself is

I used to run the pepper ball gun but I like the beanbag more. The pepper ball has a little delay before it activates but it’s also like an aoe type shit it can spray dudes if you shoot the floor walls or ceiling but the beanbag is a bigger hit and it’s instant flinch for suspects but if you headshot with a beanbag they could die
