Does anybody know what might be causing this? Gtx 1060 3gb, i5 9400f, 16gb ram. GPu drivers updated. Direct x12 reinstalled. Whole game reinstalled. Files checked. Issue exist only in RON. Definitly not the hdmi or monitor problem cuz i runned the game on 2 diffrent monitors. Nvida geforce all shit turned off. Steam overlay turned off. No overclocking. 70 ° all the time. It happens on every NEW or remodeled map. Whelp:

Game needs to be re-optimized. Performance related issues are plaguing a lot of people, and yea, RoN is attempting to chew up any resources it can right now on this patch. No one has really come up with a solution to keep the thermals/performance in check. Probably best to just wait a bit. I know 70c is well within safe operating temperatures, but getting that high still bugs me out. Seeing similar issues on my system. Temps are way out of the norm from last patch

I thought it was low vram issue in the first place cuz i had similiar problems in SQUAD before they added low vram cards option. But i was talking with a guys on this dc who used 2gb vram cards with no issue xd

I’ve seen people, i3/1060s all the way up to i9-12000/3090s and their amd equivalents experiencing FPS, thermal, render and vram issues. Also bugs that were apparently fixed like FPS drop when customizing loadout are still there. So it’s evident a rabbit hole of broken things regarding optimization is pretty deep atm.

So, I want to know if it's intentional that bullets for rifles land a couple inches below where you're aiming

the orange spots are bullet holes from SMGs and Pistols

the unhighlighted bullet holes are with the rifle. the very bottom one was my attempt at hitting the 7, the 2 in the center were an attempt to hit the previous pistol/smg bullet holes

actually, i had an issue yesterday. where just for fun i took the SA-58 threw the highest mag scope on it. And tried to get a headshot on someone surrendering (gas station) I aimed for the head. Hit them (big puff of dust) they got up and ran away

If you have any mods, uninstall them and verify the game files. If not, update your drivers/windows, verify the game files, check no anti-virus is causing issues, and if all else fails do a clean reinstall again:

Uninstall ReadyorNot on Steam, then delete Steam > Steamapps > Common > ReadyorNot, then reinstall the game

Hi everyone, could someone please elevate my error message to the developers at hand if you look at my message in Bug reports a while back about exception access violation. This issue still occurs but now mostly occurs in friend only sessions. For example the crash will happen when I load into the mission at hand (the screen with the mission title and number of players). I have tried Casual sinner and clew's information but still didn't work. I have also reinstalled the game/ check drivers/run admin/run in directx11/run internal integrity/ the lot. I was hoping that this update just went would fix this but it didn't any help guys?

@gleaming flint Depends on what the devs decided to have the sight zeroed at. What was the farthest distance you tested it at? IRL for myself mine is zeroed for 100 yards so the bullet will be lower relative to the sight up until 100 yards.

Is the next patch or hotfix going to address the issue with suspects maintaining visual through walls and tracking and shooting you through them for extended periods of time?. Any attempt to use the supporter-exclusive weapons will result in the operator equipping an 870 when leaving the menu instead.

Try going into settings > Game > Scroll all the way down and disable "serverside checksum"

Outside of that, you can try restarting the game, restarting Steam and or your device, and see if it works. It is a peer 2 peer connection, so random match making will try to put you with nearby players

You can see the wire is loose and it should look like it's cut but your menu is blocking it.

They can see you through walls and will track you with almost perfect accuracy after that initial reaction.

Visually it's going across the door. I opened the menu to show it's "disarmed" but visually it's not.

It 100% just looks like the wire is loose and cut as per normal. The wire doesn't just go invisible.
You can see it doesn't stretch across the whole door through the menu.
Look at that picture and then the one of the SWAT shooting below it. See how the wire is high and taut in the bottom image showing it is armed?

my game stopped giving audio randomly today. Last time playing was 3 days ago, everything fine. But I played mostly on headphones and only sometimes on speaker.

today I got a bit of a headache and dont want to wear headphones and the game just doesnt give out audio to the speaker.

Windows will not swap audio devices on exclusive audio applications until you restart them.

I would suggest checking Ready Or Not is an allowed program with your Antivirus.
Try a clean install: Uninstall > Delete Ready Or Not folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common > Install
Try DX11 and DX12
Try launching in windowed mode:
C:\Users(YOUR PC NAME)\AppData\Local\ReadyOrNot\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
Open GameUserSettings with Notepad or Notepad++
Change these settings to 2:
FullscreenMode=2
LastConfirmedFullscreenMode=2
PreferredFullscreenMode=2
Then save the document and close
Then try launching the game again
