temps a little high but they are for a few games usually 70 to 80 on rare occasions, i.e. C2 charge exploding in my face. But the usage of both cpu and gpu is sorta low

RoN is quite cpu intensive, might sound silly, but clean out your cpu cooler, AMD are notorious for being hot and the kind of stutters your getting may be a result. Usage of both the gpu and cpu should be high during gameplay. This could be outside of the scope of a humble chat mod as myself ❤️ best of luck!

Loading the lobby after a match usually results in at least one person getting kicked. They just join back. You hit play and then Friends Only to create a private session

It goes on forever. Especially in view of the search for low latency, when they try to throw me to the same server with a delay of 90, but the server is either constantly full, or a connection error. I could try to search for servers with a delay of 120, but I have no such opportunity, because during the next search, they will try to connect me to the same server to which I cannot connect. There is no server that I get ping less than 150ms to whereas your game enforces a maximum of 120ms ping thereby resulting in me not being able to play multiplayer

Not sure if it's helpful... but the multiplayer/lobby issues seem to be intermittent. Posted last night and had issues but 1 friend was able to join as were public players, yet my friends could not. However at one point a friend did join and we played a couple hours without issue while I gave him an intro the game. Again today I don't seem able to join other lobbies, but we played 2+ days ago for hours/day without issue. I still haven't found anything client-side that seems to help the issue, it just seems to come and go the past 24 hours so.

99.9% of times the black screen and restart is PSU. Unfortunately people will fight you on that nonstop until weeks later they get a new PSU and it works fine.

First - can you check for crash logs in '%localappdata%\ReadyorNot\Saved\Crashes' ?

Can you also check for crash logs in the ready or not steam apps folder? The other location has the same folder tree (so for example, C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Saved\Crashes)

If you can zip up and pop over the most recent crash folder to TOC bot (for both locations, if they're there), I'll take a look at it. Be sure to mark where you got which one when sending

Sure thing - If its worth any mention, occasionally my crashes will come alongside a "ran out of memory while trying to load a resource..." type of error message. For clarification, I have 16GB of RAM and 8GB of VRAM, and I'm monitoring both while playing; neither reach their maximum output or come even close to a problematic percentage, and I've performed every trick in the book to ensure the GPU or its drivers aren't faulty or improperly installed

I'm not too familiar with the page file myself, but what might be happening is windows not properly allocating the resources that RoN needs for some reason

If you bump that number to say... 5936 - maybe give it a shot and see if it works?

make sure it's allocated to the same drive that RoN is installed on - to get to that menu, simply hit 'change' under the virtual memory tab and uncheck the top option

if it doesn't work, I'd suggest just swapping it back to the original number - but I've seen this work with other games (i.e. BONEWORKS) so who knows

Its so strange, I've got a 144hz monitor so 90% of the time the game runs absolutely buttery smooth and I love it. Then the random drops to 1-2 FPS starts, and at first I thought it was on specific maps or locations, but it seemingly occurs at random. @obsidian brook so i managed to get a temporary fix, looks like the RTX setting in the GameUserSettings.ini was causing the game to crash, i've also undervolted the GPU and underclocked it by -10 each (memory and chip clock) verified files and started up the game, it played nice and no crashes.

On a whim I installed Ready or Not to my ASUS TUF 705DT laptop, and it actually runs. I can go into single or multiplayer - even though the bloody thing only has a GTX 1650 in it, which pales in comparison to the 980Ti in my main rig. Bruh, i LOVE the game so far. Such an insane improvement over the Alphas. It's just irritating to see my friends waiting around for me to get the game at all.

Just curious if anyone is having VOIP issues. Using a Blue Snowball on my setup. In any other game I can practically whisper into it and people can hear me. on RON it registers extremely low. I have maxed my mic output in RON and Windows and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Any ideas as to the cause?

Hey, when I try to do a friends only and invite my brother, he gets stuck on a loading screen with Lobby Headquarters 100% and nothing happens. Is there anything I can do to play with him?

Solved it! I found (at least for me) what was causing the game to not allow me to join my friend's lobbies. Windowed Fullscreen mode is the issue, just switched it to Fullscreen and poof it works now.
