You have something else going on then. I have a 5800x3d and 6900xt oc to a stock 6950xt, 32gb ram. Went from 100 fps avg at 1440p max settings with the default upscale (100% res scale) to after the fix it went to 150-160 depending on if i'm recording or not.

The word from the devs on 13/14th gen issues is that it is an intel related problem when interacting Unreal Engine. They're gonna try to fix some issues, but it is an intel problem. That's my understanding at least, here's the ref.

this is litterally the only game i own that has pushed my system into emergency shutoff territory, ive played multiple other games that have pushed more in terms of graphics and framerate that didnt bring my sytem to its knees, i could maybe understand my gpu since that was capped and struggling the most, but its not really a failure on intels part

It's not UE specific at all, it never was, and it's not related to 11th or 12th gen.
Most of the fixes in this article are superceded by respective UEFI updates with Intel Baseline power profiles, which are still not going to fix the issue because these CPUs keep on dying in 125W hardcap enviro.

The test branch is out of date, it is not tied to your supporter benefits, you've actually only been harming yourself because that game build is no longer updated.

Just update the game to the most recent build and everything will be there.

ive done a bunch of dx12 games, i cant remember what other ue5 games i own but im sure its a few, i dont really look too much into what engines the games have tbh, but for example i was able to do max settings path traced cyberpunk for hours without any temp warnings, with RON specifically i crash running dx12 all the time so at the time of the overheat i was on dx11 though

As instructed, go to your steam DLCs tab and if you own SE, you will see that you own both the DLC and SE. The test branch means nothing, if you aren't on the main build, then you need to opt out of the test branch and update your game

After new update, the game freeze now every time I play. Even thou I have an old gfx card (GTX 1050i) I could play the game before with no lags. Now there are lags in DirectX 11 and a lot more in DirectX 12. Have tried Epic first. Then the High gfx on both DirectX 11 and 12. And the Map "Vally of the Dolls", but freeze every time.

I have done cinebench stress tests and on the side i do render in autodesk aswell occasionally and have never had issues. Seeing it peak at about 250watts give or take during the stress test, but still never went above 70

If you have the Home Invasion DLC, and your game is updated, and you checked in correct places forthe DLC cintent (note: Somebody said the devs mislabeled some items) the only other thing that comes to my mind would be somewhat corrupted save file.

Are you both fully online in steam? If your name is DESKTOP, you are not properly coming online, so look into how you can fix that. It may be that you are launching though the exe instead of steam.

Updating some information that I just resolved by disabling Intel's apo technology now seems to work. since the fault is not in the power since it is limited to a safe range. but it is also partly the fault of the patch that has caused changes that have not been tested before launch and has to take part of the blame since they must work together with intel and amd so that these changes do not affect anything other than what is typical today in day. Hello. I've had a bit of an odd problem with Ready or Not for a while and I've mot seem anybody else having this issue. Ever since 1.0, the game will only launch in DX11 for me; attempting to launch it in DX12 or safe mode will result in an immediate crash. The update to Unreal 5 has done nothing to fix this issue. My system has a 12gb RTX 3060 and Ryzen 5 3600. It has no trouble with DX12 on any other game. I have installed and reinstalled, validated files, deleted and reinstalled the PAK folders, all with no luck. As I said above, I have not seen anybody else anywhere on the Internet talking about this issue and while it isn't a huge deal, it is a little strange.

You cannot change the character in commander or practice, it's been that way for forever, but you can in commander

Its no different than putting dlss or fsr to quality mode. The fix in the sticky / video on steam that is how the default UE5 upscale works. Putting it to 67 is technically the same as putting DLSS or FSR to Quality mode when they are working properly.

The 5500 uses the AM4 socket so you wouldn't be able to upgrade without changing the motherboard

I was pointed in this direction.
Im having an issue getting the game to work after loading 100% into any single player or multiplayer game. Once it hits 100% in the loading screen it just freezes.

This is what I posted in the general chat before i was directed here. Are you able to assist?

I tried resetting my setting in the game, no luck
i updated my drivers, No luck
I went online and saw that is would be the mods and deleted all my mods, no luck
I went through the pak files and deleted each one, validated the files and had it reinstall the missing files, no luck.
Completely delete every file and uninstall, and reinstall, no luck.

now I lost all my progress and are not able to play the game.
(PS I am a smooth brain and spent 5 hours straight on this so far)

Adding to this, I have to wake up in a few hours, so I am going offline. I'll check back tomorrow!

DX12 has longer and more intensive load times due to PSO caching, it loads the map before you play so it doesn't stutter as much while you play.

It's the same thing every update, same thing every time you reinstall.

Except now that it's UE5 the compilation issues are exaggerated.

Especially since it's not shipping UE 5.4, which substantially increased both overall performance, and improved shader compilation times.

Gunfighter is one that has been updated. Check Nexus mods, it shows the date each mod has been updated, if it's not in the last day or two, it probably won't work and you shouldn't use those particular mods

I think if anyone is having problems in game it’s because you have mods previously in your game files before installing the update and it’s corrupted some folders. Best thing I can recommend for now which sucks is either deleting your mod folder and trying or doing a fresh reinstall of the game and see if that works. The mod manager in game hasn’t always been the best for not breaking your game to begin with so that’s all I can really recommend, because my game runs perfectly fine with the new update and i don’t have a single mod installed.

Delete all mod data include mod.io folder. If this doesn't help, try run game in safe mode, then in normal mode (dx11-12)

The updated attachment mod from ballistic doesnt work for me... its in my mod folder but the attachments dont show up

Yea some of the mods dont work, I tested out gunfighter, in-game menu, nvg always on, and they somewhat dont work
