I havent figured out much with the 1080 but i just excluded all RoN files from antivirus in windows, shrunk the screen size in the nvidia control panel, stole the config and altered from my other computer, cleared steam download cache and validated files. Going to see if its the graphics card

I downloaded custom maps before the full game dropped from the mod.io menu in game, and now after removing the maps, the modded maps still show up. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game to try to get rid of the custom maps but that also didn't help. I kinda just want the base maps back instead of all of the downloaded ones. Go into your game files, then ReadyOrNot > Content > PAKS and then into the ~mods folder. Make sure you delete everything inside that folder, that fixed it all for me. You can also verify files again after if you want to be safe

Ah I am so glad to see I wasn't the only one with mad performance issues, I haven't gotten that black screen bug though, I had a crash when I first installed it saying it could find Main_Menu V2 but after a quick verify it worked perfectly. My main issue right now is my load times, I am still on HDD and these are some of the longest load times I've ever seen, Even games like Baldurs Gate 3, and many more never had this issue, This also wasn't the case pre 1.0 I played the night before in excitement, ran perfectly and had normal load times. my 1650 is also struggling alot more, especially with textures randomly unloading in missions, regardless of my Texture setting.

Before the update to 1.0, RoN was running fine on my computer; i5 11400f with a 5700 XT.
Now after the 1.0 update the game suffers serious stuttering issues.
Graphics drivers have been updated and shader cache has been cleared, system rebooted and still stutters
I know after clearing the cache stutters will happen as the cache is being rebuilt but when returning to the gas station twice after the clear, the game still tanks when turning or when action happens

Yes, the game is poorly optimized. People are experiencing FPS drop, jumpy FPS, stutter, and more. You can try to fix that by using DX12 and lower the shadows, use DLSS or FSR and put it on ultra performance. For the game itself we need to wait for hotfix

I use RMB to Fire and LMB for ADS. I am not able to switch LMB and RMB in controls. Game is unplayable for me.
After clicking/selecting the bind option to change it, LMB doesn't bind as it takes actual/second click as normal click when trying to change it.
It was broken in Beta as well. But post release it completely not working.

go browse local game files > ready or not folder > Content folder > paks folder > and delete all mod files in there this worked for me best of luck boys

Anyone know how to fix RON encountering a critical error and not being able to recover?
