Understood, this may have been found also, but So say the zeros represent things we haven’t found yet, and say that the next letter is “O”.. “O” In binary is “01001111” and that binary translated to octal is “117” could the 2 zeros that are in the first 18 letters be unknowns such as “11” bc at the beginning it shows “2266” and then it would be “XX77” so if we plug the 117 from the 2 O’s into the cipher we sort of have a pattern going on “2266” “1177”

Maybe so. I feel true detective season one borrowed from cthulhu mythos (or one of its spinoffs) however. If anyone is bored it might be worth looking into the chtulhu culture to see if that inspires any ideas.

Huh, so I guess I’m not really adding anything new but I kinda realized that true detective might definitely more of an influence on RON then we might think. In true detective, there are multiple drawings and scribblings in area that the main characters find that all relate to Carcosa and the yellow king, drawings that just look like monsters and such. I believe someone said that the ARG was kind of at a "lull" and that more updates would come later. I would assume that they're focused on the gameplay at the moment and just adding more stuff to the game and haven't really been to focused on the ARG. All of this sex trafficking stuff looks more like map lore and not related to the ARG. It doesn't really fit the off putting theme with all the faces and drawings and codes and the odd messages. The books are most likely from assets packs. This is still a early alpha game and things are going to be just put in to fill up space. I would imagine in the near future we may get a new message or channel description change to hint at something that we need to find, probably when they add a new map or maybe in a update they will add some things.

the only reason we know how many letters are missing is because octal is in segments of 3. if you take the number of 0's on the end and split it into 3's thats how many are left. the 0's cant tell us what letter is where
