might i suggest the devs adding a new difficulty where the ai has the aggresive behaviour from hard mode but the accuracy of standard, no offense but hardmode ai has godaim while walking at +30m and standard ai prefers running around rather than shooting you, this game is so unbalanced diffculty wise, you either play blindfolded and still win or play so careful and some ai shoots u from 10km while moving

I’m on Xbox if that matters but few days ago I tried playing the boiling point dlc and it tells me i need to own the dlc which I do I own all dlc but still says i need own dlc to play

And like my Xbox tells me I don’t need to install dlc to play it I can’t install the dlc anyway because my Xbox tells me I don’t need to I never had issues before and when I first load into the game every time in the main menu the icons for the DLCs on top left corner is white so it detects me owning dlc but once I load into a game don’t own em anymore

Hard is pure artificial difficulty, Standard makes the most sense but ai teammates and the randoms in multiplayer just make the experience vanish. It’s like growing up and realizing Santa Claus isn’t real, like you caught your dad slipping $5 under your pillow after promising you the tooth fairy is real

On top of this, finding out shotguns aren’t one hit kills sometimes removes all validations on using a shotgun to begin with lmao suspects will sometimes bend over and get right back up to shooting and will stay alive running around the map, standard mind you lmfao gtfoh

I mean one or two pistol shots would take someone down (if unarmored) a single rifle shot would take a guy down with armor (most of the time) that’s the thing about guns they are deadly as hell and even with modern modern body armor your only surviving the shot you get hit that doesn’t mean your getting back up for the fight, it’s not like you can’t, people describe it like being hit with a baseball bat but I don’t think most of the enemies in the game would get up after getting hit with a force like that.

I’ve had my fair share of fun with the game. Completed Standard commander mode, completed Hard commander mode, completed Ironman mode, S ranked every level on Standard and Hard in said commander mode, I’ve tried multiplayer and it took but one full day for me to realize how broken it is (lag & incompetent teammates). I was currently doing full lethal runs for the first time but with getting punished in commander mode it’s soured that taste and quickplay teammates seem genuinely worse at this point. Only difference in guns for each category is the recoil, the bullet types are self explanatory obviously. Flashlights and suppressors don’t work, we only need a laser for hip fire unless you’re not running some sort of aiming attachment. Only the basic commands work on console, I could never have teammates breach, still can’t. As I’ve stated earlier, the game is promoted as an “immersive SWAT experience”, it literally says that in the description of the game before you buy it. I’ve watched a retired SWAT commander on YouTube complain about the same exact things me and others complain about. The game is just that, a game. Meant to fuck around and find out with friends or without. At the end of the day, it’s a game that can’t decide whether to be a true experience or a true game.
