If using 5.56 very few maps allow the use of JHP, but other rifle calibres you can use JHP except for 4 maps where they have L4 armor which requires AP irrelevant which rifle calibre, but as SLS said if you don't wanna bother with changing ammo type use AP, just be mindful that limb shots will need far more shots.
