Well, it depends what you like and what you expect.

Does this game have issue with SWAT AI? Currently yes. Is this game sometines too punishing against suspect AI? Yes. Can it get repetitive? Depends on how fast you get bored. There is currently like 20 maps and 9 DLC maps

But yes, most reviews are about censorship that get reverted with a mod if you are on PC.

I just think it's punishing for a situation that's just rng base. Yeah in real life SWAT goes as fast as they can but surely it's not on the SWAT if the suspect shoots someone before they even get to them. It's not like we can run in this game. there isnt much to it. that mission is all about abandoning the traditional way to approach threats. no stacking, no peeking with mirror gun, no tactics

I don't know if this is still a problem, but once upon a time, ai would drop the riot shield when it ran out of ammo, essentially switching to the primary, but they'd do so WHILE getting shot at, basically giving the enemy a free kill.

It absolutely makes me hate some of the bad guys, but then there are others that just seem really unfortunate. Like, they aren't actually monsters so much as people put into awful situations (like the "Left Behind"). They're still violent criminals all the same, so I'd never show too much mercy, but I mean. I don't exactly feel good about it when I don't manage to nab any arrests.
