and not even red dead 2 had proper use of euphoria, it was mostly just used for the canned death poses and some slight jittering

I actually got hit with one of these a few days ago, I deduced while brainstorming with other friends of mine, that it likely had to be someone hijacking a token
First it was a suspicious Steam login which also bypassed Steam Guard somehow at a time I was sleeping, then went to someone else getting into my Discord session through my MFA methods
The same scam the hacker tried sending to people in my friends list, is one I've seen in other servers to know it's obviously a scam

Thankfully, I shut them out and redid my MFA methods + Steam Guard ASAP, but it was nuts
I didn't go to any sketchy sites or download anything weird recently

My Steam account didn't get changed at all in the end, and my Discord account is extra secure again but it's insane how they got past 3 separate authentication methods
Went to check Windows Defender and Malwarebytes for if they saw anything worrying like a rootkit or actual malware on my PC, tested clean

They get past all login methods and 2fa via hijacking your current session token, making the account they hit think their device is yours. Since only one device with the same ID can technically exist on your saved login devices, your device will get logged out when the hijacking starts.

I'm normally huge on security, but that may also be part of why the attack got stopped so early before anything else major was compromised

I got lucky, only had to explain to like 30 people in my DMs to not trust the scam message, and that my account was cleared again when I redid my MFA factors and added an extra Passkey just in case

Imagine if the hacker started sending the crypto scam message into SERVERS and/or to random people
