That's an impressive exception, which they only went through the pain of implementing because it was planned and wished for from the beginning. That's not the case for ron.

There's also the issue of approval of mods from microsoft and sony themselves, which would just add another layer of complexity to getting each build approved and released.

Ready or Not is supposed to represent the real world, the horrors of what cops in this time can witness, and that creates a problem for review boards. It is something you as a player can question, and it can change your opinion on the world.
