I was wondering, what is the current preferred rifle for operators? AR15/M4A1/HK416 have been widely utilized for decades now, but recent media have used more Sig rifles (case in point Lioness, COD MW2019 and COD MW2022).

I'm mainly curious what rifle is currently used by Delta Force, SAS 22, and CIA SAD. Is it still AR15 or has it changed to Sig rifles, like XM7 or Spear lt 556?

the rifling gets completely cooked because of how hot the new 6.8 runs so it needs to be replaced more frequently
there's aparently issues with a part of the upper receiver/chamber getting scratched/gouged out over time
6.8 fury is insanely expensive to manufacture
there's frequent bullet tumbling issues
afformentioned 3-6MOA groupings
the gun and bullets are heavier then m4s so soldiers can't carry as much ammunition
aparently the charging handle has issues with coming in contact with certain stocks if you attempt to pull it back

that's just the beginning of the complaints about it/6.8

If so, then the most likely scenario is that you have had mods installed previously and something modded is or was saved on that loadout, which is crashing your game. In that case you have to wipe the loadout and make a new one.

That isn’t true at all. You’re thinking of hollow point rounds. The 5.56 was made so the us military could have a lighter and accurate round for rifles at the cost of fire power. The M14 was using 7.62 a 308 caliber round and both the rifle and the rounds were too large and heavy to have enough for the new type of warfare happening in Vietnam. So the M16 is made with the 5.56 round which is a 223 caliber round.

5.7 and 4.6 doesn't matter because their penetration is good enough but for round nose stuff like 9mm/10mm/45 it's best to run JHP and go for limb shots

using AP for stuff like 9/45/10 is useless because it takes like 15 shots to penetrate l3 armour with AP and then like 7 shots to kill with limbs and it's way more consistent to just get 2 limb shots using JHP even without intending to hit limbs

Elephant : WHERE TF is the second bomb? Every time I play Elephant in single player mode whether it be on standard or hard difficulty I always difuse both bombs without breaking a sweat. Then EVERY TIME I play Elephant mode in Commander/Ironman mode the second bomb becomes a f***ing ghost bomb. Nowhere in site and nowhere to be heard. RoN is pretty darn realistic and fun is subjective. If you're not having fun anymore might be time to put RoN on the back burner for a bit until the devs drop some new content. Alternatively, what I do, is play in ironman/commander mode. Creates an entirely new experience. Or challenge yourself by beating all missions on Hard or achieving A+ or S tier in all missions.

I recently resumed my schooling and will be spending more time away from gaming so I may not be the best person for this. I also milsim so I cater to a very specific playstyle. I'd recommend playing in random lobbies. Once you find someone in the lobby you like link up with them. It won't take you long to get a solid group of guys going. Or hit up the LFG either here or on Reddit.

The playerboase for RoN is massive. You'll have no issue finding people to play with
