...But afaik the AI could technically be corralled/roam basically anywhere with enough effort/time

Yeah, mostly just because there's no spawns in the locations, and matches don't last long enough for AI to roam particularly far.

(once suspects hear SWAT, they stop patrolling until they hear no sound for 3 minutes, which is basically impossible unless you're specifically trying to game the system)

I'm not sure it would be particularly useful either, since there's like 200 unique AI spawn points per map + they roam as soon as the match starts.

Even if you could identify spawn patterns, the map is shaken up in seconds

The way I do it is stairs side, clear room, wedge door, go to top floor, repeat and clear the middle section wedging the streamers room and moving from top down cleaning up
