okay so the customization. where you put your stuff on the gun will determine the guns weight distribution so if you put too much stuff in the front the gun will be front heavy. The plate carrier will be fully customizable and where you put your pouches and what stuff you put in there will determine your speed and flexibility and if your setup is too bulky then it will be harder to move through doorways.

Even though some people may have a bulky setup, they train with it everyday until they move like butter.

Personally I'd love to play something new with the cool milsim mechanics AND a cohesive story mode

Actually there is a noticeable difference. The mk17 takes less shots to get someone down when compared to smgs. Even some rifles. And when it comes to the smgs, the mp5a2 takes quite a bit to get someone with no armor down, even with ap. Because from my experience the enemies just shrug it off like BBs XD

Difference is home invasion update changed the game engine from UE 4 to UE 5 I'm not sure if they actually changed anything graphically beyond that they probably did do some type of optimizations for the engine switch I imagine. A lot of current graphical issues though are unintentional and supposedly receiving a fix some time this week.
