Honestly? Yes. Even though i havent played the original i could tell how it felt based on my small experience with the ps2 demo+actual game of SH4.

The combat is simple but gets the job done pretty well. The story is even more heart-wretching, and the music is the same as it was in the original. Also some bits of areas are tweaked slightly but still feel just as immersive as the og. They also added two or three endings, though i recommend taking that with a mountain of salt, because my memor is a little fuzzy on that one

Hey is there any tips you guys could give me so I can behave more realistically with my ai team?

I feel like I’ve gotten better and commanding them, splitting them up when possible to perform double breaches and such. I check corners frequently, and go as slow and smooth as I can.

Whenever I have a suspect that’s not high value, like Michael from 23 megabytes for example, I’ll give them two-three attempts to surrender before putting them down (if the ai haven’t done it themselves lol)

Is this a realistic approach? If not, how can I improve?

Three things: Taser, VPL-25, and the pistol version of the vpl. As long as you and ai teammates if youre playing on single player have that, youre good to go. Would say other stuff like be cautious, always door peak in case theres a trap, and be aware of your surroundings but i think that's not necessary considering everyone does that naturally for a game like RoN

There was a game crash at greesed palms for example: i was with my AI team inside that small shop right at the beginning and told them to stack up at the door from inside: the game crashed at this point (ps5)
Sometimes npcs get stuck in objects (shelfs, tables and so on) so you aren't able to arrest them, gas isn't working as intended afaik (saw many videos where it was great, but not anymore).

And one question if you don't mind: is it intended for npcs on hard mode that they aim at you perfectly trough walls and doors?

I had played about 5 minutes of it on my Acer Aspire when I had it, back in 2022
It ran at maybe 10 FPS tops and I fucking hated it but at least I remembered the layout of the map 3 years later when I got it on Xbox
