I don't have issue with most of censoring, it's usually just minor things. The exception is the post mortem dismemberment, it's not that I am sort of psycho but it makes game less realistic.
But what I DO mind is how it might affect the future. Is there any chance for the improvement of damge and gore systems or are we stuck with the current setup because of censoring? Head wounds for example have just one model wich makes some situations goofy (like shooting white person only for their head to turn black and bald). What about better limb damage? Like shooting suspect into hands making them drop the weapon or shooting into legs making them either fall or limp around. Is the current censorship line allowing you even work on things like "another neon tomb"?

Also... If the consoles are censored more anyway then why censor anything on PC at all? This one is just confusing for me. Is it like difference in changing a texture vs changing the whole model?

if you meant the gore stuff, they'll keep everything as is most likely. the game is still being worked on, but there might be a chance to see variations of things like dismemberment or body parts actually associated with the victim/suspect who blow up from a bomb vest.
as for post mortem, until everything is settled, we're probably not getting that back soon. we're in the shoes of police officers, not terrorists.

I will not be purchasing this game until you get with the times, it's 2025 and new PS5 games support 120hz mode for smoother controller response. You can play games in 40+fps or 60fps but still have that buttery smooth controller response via 120hz mode.

Yes, but staying PC only in this day and age is not a viable long term model for what equates to a niche PC product and the consoles yearn for somethign that's not Battlefield or Call of Duty. The graphic and realistic nature of the game won't change, the difficulty was that the pre-Console version of the game was released on a comparatively unregulated platform.

Going forward we now know the rules, and we'll be able to bend them to still deliver the graphic nature of the game. That being said, that graphic nature still hasn't changed in terms of the gore and violence.

@proper badger you go right entrance, wedge it behind you, take the whole squad with you. Use your mirrorgun to see around corners on the stairs. Stack up your team and do a follow up order "flash and clear with leader" 1st floor. If the doors ipen try to close it. Then you go alone 2bd floor, mirror it, flash and clear solo. Then use mirrorgun to check atrium 2nd floor and clear that too solo. Use a wedge on the 2nd floor streamer apartment. Clear atrium complete solo. Go to 1st floor apartment from atrium open the door and flash it. Go in and yell a lot. Then you stack up your whole team 2bd floor streamer appartment "fkash and clear" abd you go straught to the streamer room yelling and shootung at walls. Dobe.

Just found out that after the "bring order to chaos" objective is met, a new command called search and secure becomes available to issue to your squadmates that makes them sweep the entire map for evidence and hostages. Don't know if I'm just late to the party but I wanted to post about it cause it's cool.
