If you're upgrading ram I strongly recommend going with 32 gb to future proof. I had a similar setup with a bit weaker cpu and when I first started playing the biggest thing messing with graphics was low RAM. Once I upgraded textures and shaders were no longer blurry because the system was no longer using virtual memory

I think i paid like 70 for two 16 gb sticks from crucial. Keep in mind when upgrading ram you want to always have matching ram sticks or it will affect performance. You dont want an 8gb stick paired with a 16 or some shit. It goes way deeper that that but in general you want matching ram sticks of the same size from the same manufacturer

No problem glad i could help someone learn from my mistakes. Two unmatched sticks of 8 will get you further then where you are now, but you'll see a bigger improvement with matching sticks of ram. Also keep in mind going too big on ram can negatively affect performance. 128gb would give much worse performance compared to 32gb. Honestly 64 gb is even overkill in most cases
