yeah but theres a lingering expectation that something needs to be of a higher standard or quality when it didnt reach the focal point of those expectations, personally i think they achieved exactly what they were going for, esp when the main game they were shitting on in the initial trailers was minecraft, considering each tree has many models of wood chippage and breakage to it, the detail is very deep in many area's where it doesnt really need to strive. the narritive is weak but so is the "naritive" to minecraft, so it all boils down to what youre comparing it to and where you want those expectations met.
