DX12 for more modern hardware, DX11 for pretty old hardware. If you're on DX11 and switch to DX12 you'll experience some stutters for every map until you rebuild the shaders (same if you switch from DX12 to DX11)

They had me go into a room with a sim gun and ZERO context or info and just told me to handle the threat. One of the sims was a seemingly suicidal guy with a gun who you have to defuse. I legit found myself watching his body movements and he started pointing the gun at me, but I quickly shot before he could shoot me. Apparently almost everyone else in my class got shot by him 💀 we have gotten ZERO training so far because it's all been legislature but I swear to God this game helped me

A lot of it is what isn't shown, the AI was fully alerted, they are going to respond more aggressively than if they had not been alerted. Again, the AI was tweaked after 1.0 however and are generally easier.

The way I did it is by having one squad clear the auditorium, another the section of the school past the locked door to the right of the stairs that you see when you walk in through the front door

3. Blue team C2 and clears the auditorium

5. Once on the first floor, recall team and do the same thing: one team clears one space, the other another

Tip: Prioritize clearing bigger spaces. The shooters are more often than not in the auditorium, library, cafeteria, etc. instead of individual classrooms

Since that map is small, the gas is effective at clearing rooms
I'd advise you take mirrorgun instead of shield but let the rest of your team bring shields

Also, instead of going straight in the front door, take the stairs on the right of the entrance so you start on the 2nd floor instead of the top floor

Because if you go in through the top floor, you gotta go down the staircase that's got giant windows exposing you to the party outside where there are like 3 or 4 guards
