Is anyone else having a problem with a level totally freezing at around the same exact spot & point of the level each time you restart in order to try it again?!?!

For me, it happens on the Gas Station level on Singleplayer. Commander mode...

As soon as I approach the double doors to the gas station store, passed the gas pumps, or if I even try to go around the side, each time almost like a force field is there, the game catches me & totally freezes. Completely.

Hi, someone who is playing RoN with VoiceAttack and the ChadStevens profile? I love it to play with the voice commands but there is a weird issue I can't fix. The voice recognition works almost flawlessly, when I check the VA console everything is well recognized.

When I start a mission voice commands work fine, but at some point two issues occur,
a) instead of giving a squad command it switches weapons or
b) command chain stops halfway with the open command window and I cannot complete the chain with a command

When a) happens I say "switch to my primary" and I try the command again, but it does the same weird thing again. I see the the recommended command on the lower right, e. g. "Move and Clear". When I try that, sometimes it works, but often it switches again to some item.

When b) happens I say "cancel" and the command menu will close and I try again. But in most cases I get stuck again trying the command again, e. g. at a door. In those cases I do the job myself (e. g. peek the door) or go elsewhere and try commands with another object, which often works.

Is there a mode I'm accidentally in or does it mean that the command is not available in the situation? There is no feedback from the game for that, just weird behavior. I guess it simply triggers the key "2" for example without having an object. I thought whenever I'm in front of a door and I see the door icon with an MMB I can give voice commands like "open and clear" or "peek the door" but that doesn't seem the case. Does anyone know why this happens and how I can avoid that? I already deleted the key assignments for keyboard for 1,2,3,4,5,6 but no change. It's very annoying and gamebreaking and I can't find the cause.

I think VR companion gestures don't cause that issue. I read also that the 1.0 update changed things and may cause the issue, never played RoN before 1.0 so don't know.

yep, already tried it there and maybe someone with the same issue will see it. I just try because it is so cool to play RoN with VA in VR (UEVR). It feels much more natural and realistic to control my squad with voice commands. When it works, it's a great experience. Also tried it in the Flat2VR discord with no solution so far. Maybe just limitations of the voice mod itself.

So when I got my PC, for about 15 months I was experiencing lag/stutters and micro freezes that I couldn’t explain.

I tried settings in game and all sorts of other stuff , factory reset etc none of it worked

So I searched a little more into it and found someone with the same issue who said to enable XMP in their ram bios settings.

Turns out that after checking, my ram was only operating at half its capacity, (2100 rather than the 3700 it should be)

So I enabled XMP in the BIOS and it resolved all my problems, stuttering in Ron, Tarkov etc all gone

Find out the speed of your RAM, then check what speed the RAM is running at, go from there and google “Enable XMP” it’s quite simple tbh

Sheilds should usually take point to soak up any potential hits while others provide cover

The shield can still block shots from behind when it's on your back however unless they changed that

If you need a more accurate shot or extra firepower. Shield will limit your vision and if you get shot up enough the visor will crack making it pretty much impossible to see

You can attempt to allivate performance issues by making sure absolutely everything on your system is up to date.

The trick is that finding bugs is the hardest part. The DLC/UE5 changeover was shipped since over 30 systems worth of testing we didn't encounter any of the problems that made it live.

The problem with port is the Storm. It's not safe to have any marksman or observers up high enough where they'd be useful, not to mention the rain is so thick that past 150ft +/- you're not gonna see much useful even with NODs

Entirely random topic, has anyone else living in North America noticed drivers get much, much worse the last 2-5 years? My little North midwestern town used to be just fine to drive through, now you have kens and karens in ram 2500s and Jeep Wagoneers who constantly roll stop signs, never check their mirrors, must go 15 under or 15 over everywhere, and in one minivan's case, driving the wrong way down a park entrance, realizing this, slamming it into reverse, and then backing into traffic at speed into the side of a Honda Civic.

Obviously oil is not a fan of being 800ºF AFTER being sent through the turbocharger, and breaks down VERY quickly in that engine, necessitating 3k oil change intervals or you risk oil film breakdown.
