They are only present in multiplayer atm. They are tied to all the Echo characters. So go to locker customise and character scroll all the way down.

The problem with WT starting is that once you hit rank 4, on most nations, you hit the grind wall that requires you to either cheese the game to death to maximize the amount of EXP you get per match [either via ratting, abusing hitboxes, or being a revenge-CAS'r.] or you pay money to almost triple your EXP gain

WT is abusive and I genuinely cannot recommend you play it, since both the dev and business team does not respect you or your time at all, only your money.
HOWEVER
War Thunder is the only game on the planet that feels as good to play Armor Vs Armor, that's the singular reason why it's still as popular as it is given all of its' continuing problems. The perfect mid-point between something like GHPC and World of Tanks.

To their credit, Tarkov has no greater 'cheating problem' than any other similarly competitive shooters.
