I've only overpen unintentionally maybe a couple times the whole time I've used the SA58 which is the only gun I ever use. It's rare and even then just pay attention to what's behind the target you're shooting. You should be thinking like that with all guns really :/

Ares Shrike EXP-1/M60 and M249 SAW machine guns
Arwen 37 and M79 firing flashbangs and tear gas grenades.

You literally get three LMGs and two nade launchers

Also Drum Mag M4A1 and AKs

SWAT 3 is funny since the base-game loadout is fairly light and realistic then the official mod weapons go crazy

It also had beanbags being lethal to the face like RON unlike SWAT4

Its not necessarily punishing the player for using lethal; the game just wants players to give commands whenever possible.

This hasn’t been my experience. Well let me clarify, it has been occasionally. But when you join any response team whether that be military or law enforcement, they have something called “shoot first guidelines” and they’re largely not applicable in this game. Was just curious if this was to push players into asymmetrical engagements that aren’t realistic or to allow for the optional challenge.

I suspect that Pre-1.0 overhaul kept the aimbots on bots, but the suicide bombers there felt easiesr. After 1.0 it's really hard to make suspect suicide bombers surrender.

Yea seen it before. It's a really shit bug. From what I've seen and I could be wrong it's only caused by pepperball. Any other form of non lethal won't matter if you open with pepper ball

yeah shit be like that, it just really frustrating when flash gets stuck on some texture right next to suspect and then its area of effect gets clipped into that texture. gas ignore any obstructions tho

I liked SWAT 2 having a somewhat equal footing terrorist faction since it made you be alot more careful towards the end

A Five Eyes terrorist could outright toss a frag grenade at you if you let them and take out an element

I liked it, made them feel far more dangerous than some regular robbers
