laptop gpus are capped to temps so they will never reach the same as their PC counterparts. but my friend with a 3060 runs fine.

i'm running OK with a 3070, 16GB of Ram, but im getting capped by my CPU which is a 2019 Ryzen 7 2700x.

if you need to know ur CPU specs... check task manager, under performance tab.

but honestly, i don't think your CPU is the Issue Here. only visually inspecting the machine while everything runs could maybe find why its Slow on AVG Framerate.

trust me, sometimes i go over 100, sometimes im stuck on 75 fps.

Void seems to think that everywhere outside needs to have an ominous mist like you’re playing Minecraft on the shortest render distance. Postal doesn’t suffer from this but it exposes the relatively small interaction range between you and suspects, and Twisted Nerve is fine which is ironic cus it’s the middle of the night

It lacks proper interaction with suspects, civilians, your fellow officers past few one-liners that can be missed very easily, no medical assistance past the usual arcade-y "oh shit I'm bleeding, time to bandage myself for 2 seconds and I'm back in the fight", the obnoxious overdone fog is there just to immerse you into the environment, suspects don't react to sounds or threats (in vanilla) other than "must kill", the game's campaign by itself is not even chronologically ordered properly.

That's most of the quests, yes. And it's pretty weird that most of the lore about the environment it's set in is hidden in books barely anyone reads. But there is no shortage of theorycrafters who base their theories on in-game content ("This god's name is the same as this mythic creature, what could this imply if everything else related to them is depicted in the game?" and yada yada). And the main story quests do have some... story? Relevance? Usually it's just hype about characters being voiced and us moving through regions as the MC.

I hold HSR in high regard these days mainly due to its focus on the story. Yes, you sometimes run bullshit earrands, but the main story focuses on many philosophies and some characters are actually morally grey in comparison to Genshin. Breaking it down into mere "haha run there grab this gimme" doesn't properly describe the entirety of the game (and it has so many memes in it, it's quite hilarious).

But the point still stands, really. Hoyoverse knows their audience. And they cater to it. To some extent.

Well, it's natural that they would want to listen to feedback from the community. The community pays them a good pocket change. VOID, in comparison, so far has not fully addressed most of the issues with the game and their undelivered promises.

I mean, the game is free. It provides exploration, a somewhat-novel combat system, and a decent-enough story, albeit with heavy caveats. Don't really like the VO though, but they seem to be shifting directions slowly with the new updates.

I just find it funny that a gacha game that's supposed to be a cash grabber outperforms a tactical shooter in almost every aspect, mainly in terms of QA reliability, writing comprehension, and proper internal management.
