DirectX 11 and 12. the latter is newer, but that doesn't necessarily mean better, because a lot of is up to the devs, and void isn't known for their competency

For me, directx12 runs better than 11. Switch between the two and see which one gives you the best performance

I'm on a 4070, ryzen 9 7900x, and don't experience the same thing
Even when I was on a 3060 and worse processor I never had performance issues.
Only thing is just micro stutters upon launch but goes away after a few minutes with no more afterwards.

Performance has been really subjective to everyone, sometimes others with worse specs are getting better performance than people with better rigs.

The only one who could really find out if it works for you is you by trying it. If it doesn't work just refund it.
